Listening Prayer: The Missing Half

Many of us approach prayer as a one-sided conversation. We speak, God listens - and then we move on. But prayer is intended to be a dialogue.

John 10:27 says, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” God speaks through His Word, His Spirit, and His people. Listening requires slowing down and making space to hear Him.

Practical Step: After each prayer time this week, spend five minutes silently asking, “Lord, what do You want to say to me?” Write down any thoughts, Scriptures, or impressions.
